Literary blog #2

The book I'm currently reading is called "Private Games" by James Patterson, and Mark Sullivan.  The story is about the London 2012 Summer Olympic Games, where there is a ruthless psychopathic killer terrorizing the games.  The first murder occurred just hours before the opening ceremony begins.  Private investigator, Peter Knight is called down to the murder scene, to see that a member of the organizing committee of the Olympics has been murdered with precise execution.  Reporter Karen Pope, from the Sun was covering the archery column for the olympic games when she received a letter from a man calling himself Cronus. the letter states that he was responsible for the murder.  He also promises to bring the games back to it's once ancient glory- destroying all who have corrupted the games along the way.  Karen Pope and Peter Knight will have to join forces to stop this criminal genius... before it's too late.

Peter Knight is one of two main protagonists. He is tall and has light brown hair. He is also described as having an appealing face. Peter Knight is brave, smart and caring. He also likes to work alone, and to get things done fast.  He has two kids, a girl named Isabel and a boy named Luke or also called Lukey who are twins.  Peter Knight works for Private, the world's most renowned investigation firm. Private is currently working as security for the 2012 summer Olympic Games.  Karen Pope is the second protagonist, the author does not describe what she looks like except that she is flat chested and is attractive in the way that Renee Zellweger is, from Bridget Jones Diary.  She has no kids and has never been married.  Karen Pope grew up in a football (soccer) family, and works for the Sun a news paper company, in the sports department.  She is supposed to be covering archery for the Olympic Games before Cronus. Though she would rather do gymnastics or football, as that is something she understands and enjoys.

The book takes place in London, England during the time of the 2012 Summer Olympic Game.  The setting doesn’t remind me of anything other than London, England, where it actually takes place.
